CCE provided the overall Civil and Structural design responsibility for the new facility, which included the provision of indoor swimming and therapy pools, an indoor training pitch, and gymnasium along with numerous grass and artificial pitches.
The design of the development utilised sustainable eco-friendly solutions, such as recycling surface water from the building and car park to supplement pitch irrigation. The main building itself was constructed from a braced steel frame with beams, designed with composite steel floor beams.
Other amenities within the development included offices, conference suites, meeting rooms, restaurant facilities, car parking, larger state of the art dressing rooms and a new access road to make the training ground more accessible for parents.
